In the past few month RNDigital has spent lots of time thinking about dynamic sound processing. With our revolutionary Dynam-izer tool we have witnessed how many customers have come to understand the myriad of new options that are available with this dynam-ic audio processing technology. We had to accept the fact that the correct language often does not exist to describe what exactly can be done with Dynam-izer. Zone based dynamic processing simply can not be explained very well by using traditional compression terms and definitions such as threshold and ratio.
After many a nights discussion we have finally come up with a "white paper" defining badly needed new terms and definitions for dynamic audio processing.
